It was a fun book .
The first part just wasn´t it for me .
I think it has a lot of potential and will get better in the future .
So Ihm sure volume 2 will be better , since this one is to establish the plot and characters .
But the characters are great . I hope they don't do a bnha season 3 or so and sideline them or put in a completely new main hero constellation , ´cause I really love the dynamic between them , it's what drives the plot and story I think.

This is a spin off set in the world of My Hero Academia, with a main character who doesn't have the abilities to be a hero, but still wants to try. In the character discussion, the main hero is brainstormed to be sort of Midoriya if he never got One for All.

It's an interesting perspective, with a cast even quirkier then the main show. I really enjoy the main trio's interactions, especially as they grow to know each other better.

In many ways, this storyline helps flesh out the world, and answer some questions many fans of the series have had. Such as, "Why aren't there characters without powers, but well trained, like Batman," or "Can you be a hero without being part of the association."

It does have a few weaknesses, for instance, "Pop Step" is absurdly sexualized, wearing a thong around seemingly just to provide some fan service.

The Main Character also at times is a little whiny (though this being the first volume, hopefully he grows out of it).

Fans of MHA will love this volume. I wouldn't suggest this as a starting point for people hoping to get into the series, but people having already watched or read part of MHA will really like Vigilantes.

A good start!!!

It was a good start to a side manga for a really popular series, and the fact that we got to see a lot of fan favorites like Aizawa and Mic here and there. I didn't go into this knowing what this would be like, so it's good to expect some low grade Spiderman and a mix of deadpool because that's kind of what these guys are! They're doing what the hero's should be doing, and are kind of doing but they're doing...more...? They do what a hero does just in a morally gray kinda way and so you kinda have the rest views now: the hero, villains, and the vigilantes and I'm always kinda here for it
