I think it could have been written more to the point but I get what the author was trying to go for. There is definitely many chapters Elgar we all need to read though no matter ours age!

Disappointed with this book :( I wish the author just stuck to the facts and the research. It’s more opinionated and casual than I would like. I do think it contains some useful information though, about hormones and common health problems to be aware of. Maybe I’m just not the target audience as someone who is on birth control. Maybe the target audience is teenagers? It’s hard to take the book seriously when the author writes “weeing” instead of urinating and “preggers” instead of pregnant. I’m about halfway through, not sure if I’ll be able to finish it.

Onwijs leerzaam!

Maisie Hill's overall message is a strong and worthy one, but I do feel the book is seriously lacking in summarisation and is highly repetitive at times. I also felt that the author's bias came off a little too strong in certain chapters; for example, the tone in which Hill comments on vegan/vegetarian diets was a little too critical for my liking (in comparison to the others mentioned) which left me feeling disappointed.
