I really did love these characters but the book feels unfinished.

I wish we had more background into Dane and Lala's story or even the romantic tension with her and Castor. I also didn't like how major characters were either not mentioned or just barely mattered in this book. Finally while I did understand the apples hint I am still confused as to whether she still has the final debt broken heart scar on her wrist or not? Or did it disappear as he was the last kiss? I know some theories are that it stayed and connects then but even then I wish we had a scene where the scar transformed into a full heart or something signifying it without having to straight up say it. I still liked this book for Jack's and Eva but there was barely any of them together the story was almost too fluff without any of the adventure that pulled me in with the first books. EDIT after reading the 3 special editions different epilogues I'm so upset they weren't in the original. It answers one of the questions I had above and just overall felt more complete even with all of the other loose ends

A little disappointed after the second book. The situation in the first half of the book was really frustrating considering all the growth and events in the second book. The ending was okay.
