As cute and lighthearted as the first volume. It was fun seeing the adventures Lizel and Gil get into and seeing them get to know eachother more.

Again, I'm liking the plot, but the relationship weirdness continues, with both of the prominent male side characters now apparently also mostly being in love with Lizel? I did like the implications that Lizel is extremely good at politics and both the leaders being concerned about him and his plans.

Judge and Studd are both really cute and I love that Lizel scheduled some time to space out

➽ I’m going to be honest: I think I’ll DNF this series! I did enjoy the first volume - but have since rated it down to 3 stars, as it wasn’t that memorable - but this isn’t what I was hoping for. The premise of a Noble being stuck in a different world and working as an adventurer was SO good, but it’s barely used here. Lizel doesn’t really try to get back to his world or even think about how he ended up in this new world. The most intriguing part of the premise keeps being ignored to the point where I question why it was even included. Lizel could have been a part of this world and nothing would have changed. The story also feels like it’s going nowhere, there’s no goal and this volume felt largely like filler.

The characters were intriguing at first but felt so shallow. Lizel is basically good at everything and absolutely everyone is obsessed with him, which got old real fast. Gil is more the brooding, distant type, but I don’t feel like we got to know him at all. The dynamics between the characters just feel so over the top and I’m not really interested in seeing where they go.

I received an ARC of this manga in exchange for an honest review.

Lizel and Gil are once again on an adventure! This time, accompanied by Judge, the two adventurers head to Marcade. Lizel is determined to sight-see, while Gil just wants to fight a strong opponent. A new character appears, and he is rather interesting. Later on, the adventurers discover something strange...

Once again, this volume was so light-hearted and amusing! The personality differences between Lizel and Gil never fail to entertain me, especially with all the trouble they get themselves into. Shadow, the new character, might end up being one of my favorites! This volume was enjoyable and I look forward to more adventures with Lizel and Gil!
