Oh twilight. Another book I've fan girled over. Now that I'm thinking of it, Bella makes me sometimes want to bang my head against a wall, but it was a pretty good story, besides the banging my head against the wall parts. Over all I would recommend the book, it was a pretty good romance story(kinda, Edward also made me want to bang my head too once in a while) I would tell you just to read for the sake of reading it. Tons of people have read the book( and tons of people have seen the movie, I don't like the movie, the person who plays Edward always looks constipated and the person who plays Bella can't act)

For an "illustrated companion" there sure is a butt-ton of text. It would of been nice to see actual pictures of the work that went into making the film, instead of just telling us about what was done. I also could of done without the near constant complaining about the weather.

This is such a fascinating insight into the production of Twilight, hearing about the struggles of filming in bad weather, trying to beat the tiny budget they had and just hearing from different crew members.

It’s awesome to understand the thinking that went into costuming, location choices and deviations from the book. The time and effort Hardwicke and her team put into this film is astounding and it shines through in the final movie.

It’s unbelievable that the original version of the script had Bella cast as the popular track star and ending with FBI involvement and a jet ski chase - I’m not sure who wrote this original version but they clearly did a terrible job and we are so blessed that Catherine Hardwicke intervened.

I’ll never stop being mad that she didn’t direct all five movies - such a rip off and it was absolutely to the detriment of the series.

I wasn't going to read this series but everybody told me how good it was! I broke down and decided to read it..I will have to say I really enjoyed it! You can really feel the intensity of their relationship throughout the series! I found myself several times hiding my breath as I read. I really found myself intrigued and wrapped up with these characters! Good read!
