Noah is an obnoxious, self involved a-hole. He makes snap judgements about people, he feels entitled, and he doesn't do a great job of listening to others. Even in the end, Noah is treating his best friend and significant other poorly because he can't handle his emotions. All of his apologies feel hollow. The representation is good, but it's the main thing working for this book.

I thought it was going to be good... it really wasn't. I found the main character to be extremely unlikeable, and not in a good way. He was selfish, spoiled, and rude to everyone around him. His emotional intelligence was even lower than teenagers normally have and I found that there was no growth throughout the story. This book was legitimately painful to read; at one point I dropped the book for several months before picking it up again, and only finished it out of sheer determination. I know it looks like a cute queer rom-com but it was awful and drove me insane and I cannot in good conscience recommend it to anyone and I see it as my civic duty to save as many folk as possible from having to suffer through this.

I feel like I can see where this book is going. And I'm feeling icky about it. This is a better show of a toxic relationship rather than a cute little romance.
"You seem like someone who likes exotic foods". And trying to feel up the guy on their 2nd date. Ick

I wanted so so badly to love this. But it read like a Wattpad one-shot. The only person in the entire story I liked was Devin. E is the main thing this story had going for it. That diversity is all I found to enjoy. Not my cup of tea whatsoever.
