Excellent, excellent, excellent! I laughed, I cried, I felt the humanity of Lori and her patients. I loved Wendell. If I ever go into therapy I want someone like Wendell. The stories about Lori’s various patients were interesting and illustrated how our fear and pain distort how we experience life. Best of all you not only hear their story but you get to share in as well as applaud their closure and / or growth. Highly recommend. :-)

I loved this book. The author is a really engaging writer. Hearing all the different progressions of the patients inspired me to do more work in therapy!

Listened to the audiobook and felt like I was listening to my best friend talk with me as I walked. Listen or read this book. Best NF of the year so far

this book made me laugh and cry. Lori tells many stories while telling her own, and each one not only teaches you about yourself and the world around you, but gives you a wonderful ful, comforting feeling that we are all going through our own struggles. It is very informative and reflective and told in a very conversational tone. So good
