*3.5 stars* was definitely more invested in Catherine’s POV than Simon’s for most of the book, but damn by the end this got so dark omg

Oooh I loved this one. Another twisty and addictive read. I won't lie...at first the constant switching of POV and timelines hurt my head and it was difficult to follow but once I got into the book, I picked it up easier and then it began to flow.
I was so intrigued about what the hell the reason was that Simon left. I didn't know who to believe or who to root for.
While the ending was a shock, it didn't blow me away as I was expecting. However, I was glued to the page late into the night, determined to find out.
The in depth character development was brilliant too. And I really felt so much emotion for the characters along the way (except Simon).
An amazing psychological thriller as ever by John Marrs!
