I have absolutely devoured this, I found it quite literally addictive. It was so hilarious; I loved the authors sense of humour, a very dry, dark humour that probably wouldn’t have gelled with everyone but that I absolutely loved. I also loved how British some of the humour was; there were certain things I related to on a scary level (which is categorically not to be misconstrued as I relate to killing my entire family - important distinction). I mean, that whole section about Briony? Why does that feel so real? Mackie just ruthlessly tears our culture apart and it’s amazing. I also loved the writing style, the casual address, and Grace was such a brilliant narrator. She was so immensely likeable, whilst still being cool and edgy. I also loved the twist at the end.
I would totally recommend and I think I will probably annoy those closest to me for at least the next couple of weeks in nagging them to read it. So please, do yourself a favour and read this book :)

it started great but turned into a disappointment quickly. i felt like grace was trying too hard to be edgy and badass but in reality she was just jobless and too obsessed. the book didn't deliver what the title thought it delivered. also, the plot twist would have been GREAT if harry did all the murders behind grace, like grace thought she killed them all but harry was the one who finished the job after her. but he didn't have the main character energy in himself too. also the line about "she's pansexual but only date men" REALLY? i know you are a stupid b!tch but really? from that point i only wanted grace to live the consequences of her choices.

Graphic: Violence, Stalking, Death, Death of parent, Classism, Abandonment, and Murder
