This book was full of excitement!! It was also comical. I loved the banter between Gabe and Lennon. I also loved that she wasn't the one unable to control her feelings. She was true to herself and never lost sight of her responsibilities. The vampire was constantly pursuing her, but he was also adamant that while he wanted her, he also wanted her blood. It wasn't a situation where love overcame the natural tendencies of a monster and it's natural enemy. The story kept me on the edge of my seat with their race to figure out what was hunting Lennon and finding out how to kill it. It was a great story!

(I was provided an ARC by the author for an honest review.)
(4.5 rounded up to 5) Well this was short and sweet! And hot heads up for anyone expecting ~spice~, this is not a spicy book. Though our main vamp Gabe wants to get with his huntress so bad Iām sure some of the next novellas in this series will get us there ;)
I really liked this book because it introduces us to the characters and binds them together in life or death situations, some of which they havenāt yet let themselves feel okay with! In this novella format, I think thereās a lot a lot a lot of mobility for both Gabriel and Lennon as we follow their āwill they wonāt theyā journey.
I think my favorite thing so far is that Gabriel is downright fine with being a vampire. Thereās no vampy angst about whether or not his soul is damned *cough cough mr Edward Cullen looking u bb* Heās just living his little vampy life and while he may need to get it together a little more than not Iām excited to see if he can learn and grow as a person.
Lennon also needs to loosen up a little bit, which Iām sure is hard when you have no friends and you spend your life hunting vampires. Open ur eyes girlie!! Thereās more to life than staking vamps! But that doesnāt mean u have to stay away from them entirely get my drift??? ;)
Anyways Iām excited for the next installment!! Hope yāall enjoy this novella like I did!

I loved this enemies to lovers between Vampire and Vampire Hunter!! Gabe and Lennon are great characters and their chemistry is amazing, even though they want to kill each other. I canāt wait to see how things progress with them!! I love Easton too, a great friend to Gabe!! Gabe is definitely my favorite character, and you can already see his characterās growth by the end of this book. I look forward to seeing more of that growth!!
