Echt nicht etwas, das ich außerhalb des Deutsch Unterrichts freiwillig lesen würde. Da die Lektüre aber zumindest halbwegs verständlich war.. nicht das schlimmste Buch

alle haten Ferdinand aber ich versteh den guten voll, auch wenn er etwas dumm ist. Mag Luise irgendwie nicht, sie weint nur aber macht nichts.

I had to read it in school and actually liked it. At that time I also found out that Schiller had once done a translation for "Romeo and Juliet" which made me pretty sure that he stole at least half the content of the story from Shakespeare but I still liked his version. Probably mostly because I watched a modern interpretation of the play at the theatre back then and really enjoyed it.
