Abby Jimenez can do no wrong. How can you simultaneously write a book that makes me squeal with giddiness but also digs a wrench into my hearts and twists all the feels and emotions out? Idk but she did

What an amazing story. I can't believe the wide array of story line which took place. I think Emma & Maddie's lifestyle seems really ideal. Though the curve ball at the end after the Birthday celebration seemed like a lot to squeeze into the last 40 minutes of the book.

I expected the situation with the mom and post Pardee to be discussed more thoroughly. I wonder if anyone shared that insight with Justin's Mom?

I LOVED this book. I think it healed a part of me. The way Abby tied the series together, making all the couples cross was perfect. She handled trauma and trauma responses SO well. The book had very heavy material in it but was still a light hearted, fun book. I was rooting for all of the characters the whole book, hoping all of them would do the right thing and make it out ok. I cannot recommend this book and series enough.

This book was a pretty hefty split between serious mental health discussions and silly happy romance and it kind of threw me for a loop.
While I think the mental health topics were handled very well, it was jarring at times. Maybe this is a theme with this author and I wasn’t aware because this is my first Abby Jimenez book, but I wasn’t expecting it and it took a while to adjust to.
I liked the mental health aspect in this book. I liked the silly little romance in this book. But I had a hard time bringing the two together. In a way, the romance helped add levity to an otherwise incredibly heavy topic. But sometimes it felt out of place and disjointed.
I still liked the story and the silly little romance of it all. I liked that I could tell where it was going. I really liked the family aspect and that was actually what hit me the hardest- I even started to tear up at the very end. I was surprised I ended up liking this book as much as I did really.

🌶️ not too spicy just a lil
Very cute but more dramatic women’s fiction style - so much trauma
