As always, Dr. B does a fantastic job of breaking down complicated science and explaining it in a way that the average person can understand. His case for the "why" is extremely compelling and backed by hundreds of scientific studies. If you're looking for the motivation to improve your health, it's here. Where the book disappointed me was in the "how." The diet/meal plan in the last section of the book is no different than any other. It's extremely prescriptive, and filled with overwhelming lists of ingredients and steps. It's inaccessible and out of touch with the average person, unlike the "why" section. Fortunately, I was already on my plant-based journey prior to reading the book, but I had hoped to help glean more information to help others.
