Entangled Life: How Fungi Make Our Worlds, Change Our Minds and Shape Our Futures by Merlin Sheldrake
Did not finish book. Stopped at 28%.
I really wanted to enjoy this. I have an academic interest in ecology and was hoping to learn new things about fungus from this book, there are a couple interesting facts I wasn't aware of but when I saw that the next chapter was once again about taking LSD I decided I was done.
Extremely difficult to read, the author kept reiterating the same points and it is oddly shallow in its exploration of the subject matter. It mostly focuses on what we don't know instead of what we actually do know.
I prefer reading science books that aren't circular speculation and focus on the facts before introducing other ideas.
