The Priory of the Orange Tree by Samantha Shannon

Did not finish book. Stopped at 50%.

Got literally halfway through this book, and ultimately felt like simultaneously too much and not enough was happening. If this was separated into a series and more depth was added to the world and characters, I think I would've liked it more. 

Also, I didn't care for the male POVs, which is like half the book, and couldn't really connect much either to Ead. Some elements of this book were great though, and I feel there was so much potential. I did enjoy the writing style, and I liked some of the plot elements, and the characters of Tane and Sabran.
