It was good, but not life-changing or anything. It was also very hard to read. I felt like the whole book is built around a plot but the plot is so vague and weak. But, the characters are really good and that's what kept me wanting to read. It has a lot of spirituality to it which I liked. The drugs etc was something i couldn't relate to as a Muslim but it was fun reading it. If you like peculiar and unique characters, this is good.

What a ride this book was. The pacing is so perfect. The writing is so easy to go through. Peeta's better in this book than the previous one. It's so dark and gruesome sometimes and still manages to be funny and normal. Instant favourite. Excited to read Mockingjay.

ok, so. I started off really liking this book. I liked the pacing, the story, all the science stuff etc. I liked how information was given to you in a very easy and natural way. The concept was really nice and had a really unique and original spin on it that I liked. As the book progressed, I don't why but it just got a bit meh for me. But, the last few pages were really good with all the suspense and stuff though it still had some issues. This is a solid read if you're new to sci-fi because it's very readable pacing wise.
I liked the direct writing but still it had some problems.

(I predicted the first twist. I felt very cool at the time but got to know some other people predicted it too. I'm not saying the book is very predictable, it just has some really nice hints that you can put together to guess something which was fun)

If you liked this, check out DARK on Netflix!!! :)

omg that ending...

the book starts off pretty normal (i guess?) yet very intriguing. i couldn't stop reading. i was completely submerged in this book. so, you can say it's pretty gripping? lol. but the story builds upto a crazy mind-f*cking ending that made my heart beat pretty fast as i was trying to pull everything together.

i really don't wanna say anything about the book itself. but, it's a solid read and worth a chance.

i can't wait to see the adaptation by charlie kaufman
