Very fast paced, but in a good way! I WISH this was a series. Usually when I read stand-alones there isn’t too much world building/character depth, so a lot of the things the characters say/do don’t affect me since I’m not attached to them. However, yes sometimes I want a quick and easy read and this book definitely fits that description. Ending came out of nowhere and left me a bit unsatisfied, but overall not a bad book!

Adam's perspective was okay to read for me, but not favorite. I would say it's not rurally necessary to read, but go for it if you want to.

You know I love a good dual POV with the male's perspective. This is just a recap from the ending of Shatter Me in Warner's perspective. Definitely read it for an insight Ono his internal monologue.

I was not expecting this book to be so good!!! I kept hearing about it and of course the whole Aaron Warner part is kind of predictable, but it was technically spoiled to me beforehand. It's a tad slow at the beginning which made me almost want to stop reading it, but once it picks up, it's moving. This book starts off with our main character who has been isolated for an unknown reason and all we know is that she has a literal lethal touch. As the story progresses we come to find out why and along the way there's romance. This book brought me back to my teenage years reading stories like the hunger games and divergent. I do worry how the series will progress since there's so many books, but I'll for sure be continuing it as of now.

I mostly picked up the book because I wanted an easy and fun read to distract me from the heavy fantasy series I was reading, and this book for sure accomplished that. It had such an impossible situation that I was so curious to see how it played out. To wrap it up nicely our main character used to be on OnlyFans in her past and now with her new job as a nanny she's come to realize that her boss used to be subscribe to her OnlyFans. It's a fun time, read it!
