✨ BOOK REVIEW: Oh My Gods! by Stephanie Cooke, Insha Fitzpatrick, and Juliana Moon ✨
.
This was a really fun, modern, YA retelling of Greek Mythology, from the perspective of someone outside of the mythos, allowing readers to really get a feel for how weird the myths actually are. It was a fun, quick read, part of which explains how millennia-old beings were alive as teenagers in modern-day Greece 🤣 it was cute and I've already recommended it to my students!

This was a pretty good read, especially for a YA Fantasy Debut and for my first book of 2022! Despite starting off slowly for me, there was a sense of intrigue and mystery with our main character Dani that really got me into it. I was hooked on her internal conflict, being the top student of her graduating class at the Medio School for Girls while harboring a lifelong secret.
.
If you're looking for a dystopian fantasy with espionage, female characters playing to their very obvious (and some not so obvious yet equally powerful) strengths, and wlw, definitely check this out!
