Wowowowow. This book, the plot, the characters, Prythian - just AMAZING. I finally found my love for fantasy. Never have I been so invested and instantly addicted to a series since I was a child reading twilight lol.

I felt like I couldn’t stop reading, I was hooked straight away. What a great start to a series and I’m already halfway through ACOMAF which is even better.

Malibu rising was surprisingly a wonderful book and I really enjoyed reading it! I wouldn’t have picked it up if it wasn’t for the hype but I’m glad I did.

I almost gave up when I started because it is written in a 3rd person narrative. At first I felt like I couldn’t get into the characters because of this but as the story went on I found myself attached to every single sibling and June (Mick and June’s story literally made my heart ache). I really loved the ending too, I definitely recommend!

I don’t even know what to say. I’m writing this review two days after finishing this book because I was truly BROKEN as a person after reading this story. I was just a bag of emotions in the best possible way.

This book was so emotional it had me crying. It was also sexy I loved every single minute. I genuinely felt like I was holding my breath the whole time.

This was my first Colleen Hoover book (I know, crazy!) and if this is anything to go by with her other books then I’m just going to rip my heart out now lol.

Beth O’Leary is truly a great author and I love her writing style so I had to pick this up after reading The Flatshare.

This book is lovely, heartwarming and so wholesome! I loved the characters especially Eileen. The story was a bit predictable but it had some emotional moments and some moments that made me laugh too! So overall it was a delight to read.

The Flatshare was a 5 star for me and I definitely preferred that one, However, I would still recommend this for a cute easy read!

The book cover was what drew me into buying this book, it’s beautiful. The author wrote a great twisted concept of the story of Cinderella. Going into hard subjects such as homophobia, domestic abuse and sexism. I liked that it had a lot of female empowerment fighting against the patriarchy!

I enjoyed the relationship blossoming between Sophia and Constance but I wish there was more written about Sophia and maybe about her and Erin, she was her first love after all.

I found some parts to be too fast and some parts very slow but overall enjoyed the book and will most likely read more from this author!

This is the second book I read by this author and it didn’t disappoint! Really intense and captivating story. So many twists that I didn’t even know who I believed anymore. Really loved how some parts were written like a script too. It would have been a 5 starts but I didn’t enjoy the second half as much as the first! Still recommend if you are looking for an exciting, psychological book, I finished it in less than a day!

I really wanted to like this book after seeing the reviews. I found it painful to read, with long sentences, endless metaphors and no real plot going on. I personally don’t enjoy this type of writing style and even though it’s only 220 or so pages it felt like the book was loooong.

Fast and easy to read. I really enjoyed it overall. You think it will be a predictable story but it has many surprises throughout. I couldn’t put it down!
