A fantastic sorry by Josie Silver. A great holiday read with heart and depth. Loved the atmosphere of New York, finding love after love, found family, and all the ways that love grows and evolves. The resolution was a bit rushed at the end, and while we all expect a happy ending, it all certainly tied up easily. At times I was frustrated with Iris and her choices, but overall everyone was so lovable, that every interaction felt special.

This was a sweet, fast, cozy mystery. I was afraid I wouldn’t like Vera at the beginning, but I ended up really loving and appreciating her. I appreciated that the MC was older and all the racial diversity in the book. Of course stories like this are a bit unbelievable and the murderer becomes obvious, but it’s still a fun ride.

This story elicited so many emotions from me. It was raw and complicated and heart warming. I’ll never stop thinking about it.

This book was fantastic. It’s comprised of short chapters/stories that all end up making sense at the end. The last few chapters had my bawling my eyes out.

This plot was promising, and it started off really well. But then it dragged on and the plot twists just fell flat.
