Abby Jimenez never disappoints me! I will read ANYTHING she writes at this point. As always with this author, I adored this book from start to finish. It made me feel so full of love and heartbroken at the same time. I can’t wait to get the physical copy in my hands in April so I can annotate it🤭
Samantha and Xavier were true soulmates! They were a perfectly balanced match. Immediately I was captivated by this couple and their instant connection and chemistry. I’m not always a big fan of when a couple has that instant connection but I genuinely felt so much love between them in this one so I can’t fault it.
This author always gets me towards the end of her books…I can confirm I spent the last 10% crying on and off—this story was truly beautifully written🥹
Why was this so funny and kinda soft? It’s literally a masked man that stalks her, breaks into her house and watches her on cameras he planted👀 In case you weren’t sure, I absolutely loved it!! I’m not sure I would have enjoyed it as much if I didn’t listen to the audio. The narrators did such an amazing job…I need to listen to more by Jacob Morgan😳
Josh…this man had no business being so cute and hilarious💀He had me laughing out loud so much. The cat dad content was top tier🤣
Josh and Ally were so hot together—honestly the whole masked man thing really did it for me🫢 Their chemistry and banter were great. Their interactions were so fun and enjoyable to read!
Was it amazing and life changing? No, but I had the best time listening to it!!
Please please please read this series! I haven’t read all of the books yet but I’ve absolutely ate up the books I have read, including this one🤭 and they’re all plus size rep!!
This story was so swoony, romantic and hilarious—a great combination. I really loved the dynamic between Mia and Ford. They had such a genuine respect for each other right from the beginning. Mia was a queen, she had so much confidence and knew exactly what she wanted and deserved. I loved her. And Ford was such a cutie, a real gentleman with an adorable relationship with his family🥹 They honestly had so much chemistry from the get go.
I will say I wasn’t the biggest fan of the reasoning for the third act break up. No spoilers but Ford’s reaction to the situation really annoyed me. I can understand it but I didn’t like it. However, I did enjoy his growth afterwards and how he made things up to Mia.
I can’t wait to go back and read the other books I haven’t gotten to yet!!
I was so intrigued by the synopsis but it just wasn’t executed in the way I wanted. I’m not really sure what it was, but it just didn’t do it for me. I read Romeo Falling by this author and gave it 5⭐️ so I’m disappointed that this one didn’t work for me.
The story started off well and I enjoyed the beginning and the end, but I just got bored through the middle of the story. Though this is a dark romance, it didn’t feel dark to me at all really. There are some darker things discussed but it never goes into detail, and I feel like if we took out the kidnapping this would have no dark elements at all🤷🏼♀️
I was genuinely enjoying this book but my mood has changed drastically since I picked it up and I’m no longer in the mood for it. I’m planning to pick it back up at a later date though!!
Wow this story was beautiful!! It really put me through the motions🥹 Once I started reading, I just couldn’t put it down. My heart physically hurt while reading this and I love when a book can make me feel that way! All the pain I felt was so worth it.
While this had a slow build up, I was instantly hooked in and captivated by Romeo and Jude. Theirs is a story that will definitely stick with me🫶🏼 Their relationship was just so pure and beautiful, I adored both their friendship and their romantic relationship so much. They had so much love and devotion between them and it was everything.
I’m not always the biggest fan of when a story goes between the past and present but I really loved it in this book—it made me so much more emotionally invested in this couple!
Did I read a romance between twin brothers? Yes. Did I absolutely love it? Also yes🫢 It’s so wrong but written so well in a way that their relationship doesn’t feel wrong at all. I really didn’t expect to love it so much.
There is something about a taboo romance that I just eat up every time, no matter what the relationship dynamic is.
The awkwardness between Atticus and Asher early on was very real. I genuinely had to put down my kindle multiple times because I could feel it through the screen. I actually really liked that because it had me feeling the same as the characters and brought me more into the story. Despite the wrongness of their relationship, there was something so sweet and beautiful about it. The love between them is undeniable🫶🏼
I do think this could have been a 5⭐️ if it was a dual pov!
“So yeah, this was sex with my brother. It was weird and ten flavours of fucked up, but holy shit, it was hot.” — this about sums it up.
I need to read the other books in this little ‘series’👀
