Wow! This was my first book by Lauren Rowe and it won’t be my last!

It’s a unique spin on the single dad trope. Caleb, drummer for a famous rockband, knew he had a child out there, the outcome of a one night stand with a fan. But being so wrapped up in the touring life, he didn’t want to be involved except to pay child support. But he’s thrust into it when the mother of his child is killed by a drunk driver.

Aubrey had been living with and helping her bestie raise her little baby, Reyna. When she finds out her best friend has been killed, she moves home to a small town for support to raise her best friend’s baby.

This was sweet! I loved the big, tough, rough looking drummer totally melting for his daughter and doing everything he needed to be in Reyna’s life. And Aubrey showed so much strength and patience. Not only did she fall easily into the role of mother, she also helped Caleb in more ways than one. Their dynamic was so fun. And when they both finally give into the tension, it’s so good!

Reyna was a fun toddler to read about. Her speech patterns were very representative of a two year old. The only thing that was unrealistic/unbelievable in her storyline was the potty training stuff.

Andi & Sean were phenomenal!! I loved hearing them together. The audiobook was well done! The performances were perfect.

Thank you, Home Cooked Books, for the ALC!

Multi-Cast narration performed by June DeBorahae, Sean Masters, Oscar Hayes, J.F. Harding, Joe Arden, & Maxine Mitchell

• Paranormal • Why Choose • Academia • Hidden Powers • Erotica • Age Gap •

Vampires + Witches + secret societies + why choose???? Say less!

Was there a plot? Minimally
Was there angst? Oh yeah
Was there spice? To the max! Not just with Ophelia, the FMC, but this harem of men love to play together too.
Was it a good time? 100% and I’m looking forward to the rest of the series!

And the voice actors . . . So perfectly cast! They were all amazing! Lots of depth to their performances. Highly recommend the audio.

Thank you, Blue Nose Audio, for the audiobook!

Loved loved loved this story!!

Loved the way they so easily fall back into their love. Loved the way Garrett learns from his past and isn’t going to let her go this time. Loved the way Liv is cautious but self-assured. Loved her meddling momma!

It was everything I want from an accidental pregnancy story and the climax was perfect!

Samantha and Pat did fantastic with the audio! Superb performances!

Multicast Duet Narration performed by Amy Hall, Devon Ryder, Edward Black, Sean Masters, & Sebastian York

Loved this audio of this. So much great talent! And with so many distinct characters having POVs, it's essential that a book like this be multicast.

This girl is getting it! Her harem just keeps growing and I loved how the guys all just accept that it's happening. They all just want to care for her in whatever way possible and keep her happy, even if that means multiple partners. I really love the dynamic with the older, more mature Ronan in particular, because he kind of takes care of everyone.

The secondary relationships that happen in the harem are great character development stories as well, particularly for Asher as he's going through his own self-discovery.

The plot with the stalker is compelling and I can't wait to see how it plays out!

I didn't love how the SA at the end of book 1 was kind of glossed over, but the deception from Asher that perpetrated it was necessary in the situation.

Dual narration performed by Michelle Sparks & Grayson Owens

• Mafia Princess • MC • Then & Now • Hidden Identity • Trauma • Dark Romance •

It’s an interesting mix of mafia, motorcycle club, and secret society. The plot was good during the first like 75% but then the end and tying of all the plot lines together was confusing and lackluster. The big bad puppet master was taken down too easily. Parts felt very rushed, lots of hopping around without clear transition.

The spicy scenes are feral! Wicked is very aggressive and they’re both into breath play.

Michelle and Grayson did amazing with the audio!

CW: torture & gore

There’s a secret baby but the first meeting between him and his dad is nonexistent and Wicked and Ruby barely have a fight about her never telling him about his son. Then he falls so effortlessly into coparenting.

Holy male narrator!!! While I’m usually a 1.75x listener, I definitely found myself slowing down to 1x during certain scenes.

This was full of fantasy and such a fun contemporary romance!

Duet narration by Amanda Willow & Joe Arden

• Christmas Novella • Small Town • Grumpy/Sunshine • Brother’s Best Friend • Grief • Amputee Rep • Unprocessed Trauma •

Cute short story about two people both blaming themselves for the death of a loved one and finding love with each other.

He’s been secretly pining after her for years, even drinking coffee from her coffee shop to support hurt despite hating coffee. And she’s trying to show him she’s still there for him when he pushes everyone else away.

It was tinged with a bit of grief, but it was heartwarming!

Great narration! Amanda and Joe really did great with the emotional bits.
