Such a tricky DNF.
The world building, the concept and the message amazing. However, the characters and style at the forefront of this book I cannot stand. A lot of this is personal preference as I can see why someone would love this but I do not enjoy reading internal monologues but also my aversion for pacifists in general didn’t help lol. Also the dialogue I felt was pretty poor, I found it more annoying than any other emotion.
I’ll likely come back to reading this book, it may have just come at a bad time with a run of good books recently that are written very differently.
