I enjoyed this book! It had lots of content without being overwhelming or overly complicated. It was hard at times to keep track of all the characters. You HAVE to pay attention in order to enjoy this reading experience. Nothing cute or silly about this read. But at the same time, it's more practically scary instead of actually spooky.

5 Stars!!!

I felt the impact of this book. The Women made me feel every emotion. I haven't cried over any book I've read this year, but I teared up by the end of this one. I loved the main character's story. It was painful and beautiful to read about her life in Vietnam and its ramifications on her life and personhood. I didn't know much at all about the Vietnam War before I read this book. I feel like I learned so much and have gained a new perspective and appreciation for the veterans of that time. If you're emotionally prepared for a story that features numerous traumatic experiences, then I highly recommend this book. The audiobook is great. I can almost guarantee I would read The Women again.

A quality read! It's a good mix of historical fiction and regular contemporary romance set in two different timelines. I enjoyed the ending a lot! However, I wouldn't recommend the audiobook.

The content can be hard to get through at times because of the subject matter, but the story overall is heartfelt and one worth reading. I genuinely felt touched and emotional when I finished it. The narrator does a great job immersing you into this story. If you have the option to read this as an audiobook, you will be so happy you did.  I can see myself rereading this in the future and would happily recommend to anyone willing to step outside their comfort zone and put their heart out there.

I enjoyed this story and the audio book dramatized version is really engaging. Sometimes it felt slow and quant and at other times the plot was tense. An easy read for sure!

What a gem! I had so much fun rereading this book. It sets up the Mortal Instruments series so well.

It was a lighthearted read. I had a good time while reading it, but it wasn’t my favorite rom com. There’s more drama in it than I was expecting.
