It was sweet, original and well written. I love found family and I am a sucker for "the reluctant parent that learns to love it" trope.

The writing was so beautiful and engaging, I just wish it was longer. Super excited to read more books by this author

Didn't feel any connection to the characters or the story. Just not really my vibe and that's okay, I don't think I was really the intended audience tbh

Okay, I was going to try to read this entire series, but honestly I don’t want to anymore. I’ll be happier if I can just move on to books I’m actually excited about, so I’m just gonna stop it here.

Anyways, this book was kinda boring to be honest. I couldn’t really tell you what the story was and I just finished it two minutes ago. I’m not usually someone who notices this kind of stuff, but the pacing felt weird? I don’t know. I just didn’t have a very good time with this book, and I was reading these books purely to get lighthearted fun vibes.

Goodbye Mortal Instruments, it was good while it lasted 🩷

Oh dear, this one was much worse than the first one. I will keep reading though. If only for Alec and Isabelle ♥

The incest is getting heavy here gals, like, they find out that they're siblings but are still super okay being attracted to each other. And no one ever asks them how they feel about it? The only one who seems to notice is Simon, and he's just a jealous brat who is scared his girlfriend would rather date her brother than him

I needed to read something just like this. Something easy and engaging, needing no brain power. I will for sure be listening to the rest of the series as a break from the other books I read

Every book I choose because it sounds crazy, ends up not being as crazy as I hoped

I could tell that this book is extremely well-made, and probably loved by many people. However, I felt nothing, I was just waiting for it to be over
