After reading all three of Alex Michaelides’s books, I am currently questioning his sanity after reading this one. Overall, it was really good! I still think the silent patient is better, and for me the Maidens and this one are close, but The Maidens is slightly better. The middle of this book is slow, but once you get to the end of act four and five, it gets really twisty. It was a really enjoyable read! I finished it in a day, which was worth it, even though my mom was yelling at me continuously to get out of my room, but still worth it!!! I really liked the plot twist, and yes I expected some twists, but I didn’t fully figure out each twist. I highly reccomend this book!!!
