This was an odd story. It was interesting how the pieces fit together in the end. There were some very cringy moments.

It was interesting to see the thought processes of a sexual predator. Interesting read.

I received an ARC of this book and it was a wild ride. Several trigger warnings such as pregnancy loss, abortion, sexual assault, abuse, mental health, infidelity, and fat shaming. The husband was arrogant and abused his wife and other women emotionally. He was obsessed with health and fitness and shamed his wife when she, according to him, "let herself go." He really was an unlovable character, but as the story unfolds you begin to understand why. I love that Karma eventually comes to bite the husband. I never expected it to come the way it did. I enjoyed reading this book and couldn't put it down. The author did a good job of placing little hints throughout to build to the twists in the story. And boy...were there twists. You think you know where the story is going but, trust me, you don't. There was a little sci-fi mixed in, making it a little unrealistic, but not so much that it took away from the story. It was a good twist that I believe was well deserved, without giving to much away. I cannot wait for the second book to see where this story goes!

Lots of twists. You think you have it figured out but you don't.

Pretty good read. There were a few twists I didn't see coming. It was interesting to meet all the characters and see how they all fit together.
