i really wanna give this 5 stars cuz it's my fave couple but idk i think the whole thing just bored me bye like i think i need a whole re-read of TID to be on the feels again. i do love the story of rosemary and jack like damn that's so sad and as much as i kinda didn't like her stubborness before (and everyone kept mentioning cuz she's a Herondale), i do understand the kind of sacrifices that she had to make 🥺

Rule of Wolves by Leigh Bardugo
It was starting to be very good in the early chapters but then I got bored in the middle until near the end that I started another book lol. As always the writing and characterizations were amazing but the world-building and plot plus more POVs were not it lol. The stakes were not as big as before and Leigh could've used the Darkling's half-sister as the new villain instead of bringing him back.
I wish we'd had more glimpses of others' lives like idk it kinda ended openly but not at the same time. I wanted to see what jurda parem was for all kinds of Grisha but nada lol. I knew right away that Joran could've been the soldier that killed Matthias cuz why would he have a name. I was very satisfied however, that Zoya became the Queen like FINALLY but her turning into a dragon is kind of like a deus ex machina lol. what I wanted for Alina before finally happened to Zoya, a Grisha ruler instead of those useless otkazat'syas 😌
