This book has a bit of everything,  rock stars, hard work,  family drama and the slow burn and ignition of new live.  Bonus,  all the people from the Brown and Hurley families celebrating their grown up children.  If you're new to Lauren Dane, welcome,  where the hell ya been, but you should decibel start with the OG series and work your way in,  it will be so much more fulfilling that way.

This is a series of super shorts that focus on each of the couples.  It was originally only  available to the authors Patreon.

This is a serious of very short stories originally released to only the authors Patreon. If you've not read the series associated with it,  it contains significant spoilers.

Can't Help Falling in Love by Sophie Sullivan

Lexi Danbyis doing her best to keep herself from drowning, she's finally seeing a little light at the end of the tunnel.  The last thing she wants is to admit she's failing. When she's faced with whether to admit she's a waitress or pretend to know the random guy at one of her tables,  yep she goes for the lie. And what would hopefully be a shortlived fib snowballs,  of course.

Will Grand is surprised, but not put off by the unfolding events.  He's willing to keep up the farce if it means he actually has a chance to get to know Lexi better.  He sees her strength,  even though she sees only the cracks and the delays.  Now he has to see if he can open her eyes to the person she is, rather than her only seeing herself through the lens of all the losses and hiccups she's had to go through.

This is an opposites attract and fake relationship trope.
So if that's not your cup of tea,  you probably won't fall in love with the book.

Listed as book four in Wicked Nights
This story is within the Stark series.  I highly recommend you've read at least some of the books or you'll have significant spoilers.

We've known Bree Bernstein for awhile a Nikki and Damien nanny. This story is her uncovering more from past than she imagined.  And when faced with an impossible challenge she turns to the one man she hopes she can trust,  Ashton Stone.

Ash may have the bad boy rap but he's known for being what he wants.  And he's wanted Bree for a hot minute. Now he'll take the chance to save her,  with strings.

Enjoy the game and be prepared for the flames.

The Love of a mother is a powerful force.  This book really brings me back to the initial  books in the original series, changeling  and psy together.
