Did not finish book. Stopped at 9%.

I've read spoilers and I'm so glad I DNFed when I did. It sounds like it just kept getting worse and worse. WHY TF would I root for an MMC who treats a woman in his employ like trash? Am I supposed to believe that all of a sudden FMC walks with a magical vag that tames MMC, makes him change his mind about settling down, and that he deserves the love of a good woman? You're a dick and I don't care about you.

Why did MMC get so mad about FMC's "betrayal" - like five times??? Once okay. Maybe twice with a good apology. BUT it kept happening and getting worse. And then when she really should have held out longer FMC, was just like okay the kissing is good so it's fine. ---???

Overall, this was a good read and I would recommend and even read another book by this author.

HOWEVER, it was a little off-putting to have really hard emotional moments mixed with some hot, spicy scenes. A dead baby and brutal rape make me want to put the book in the freezer. I wasn't totally in the mood for it when the MCs finally made it into bed together... It's just not my cup of tea...
