in general, i enjoyed reading this book! it was a very easy read and there were several parts that were very intriguing but i had gotten kinda bored of adam and juliette's thing. it took alot away from great potentional world building. i am really excited to see how the stories progress though! definitely going to start the 2nd book very soon!

i don’t know what to say besides i loved this book so much! i actually got more invested in it than i thought i would. it’s truly everything i look for in a book!

honestly i didn’t expect to be this engrossed in this book but i didn’t want to put it down! even before i finished i ordered the two remaining books of the trilogy because i knew i needed to continue this series!

this book does deal with heavy topics (make sure to check trigger warnings) and the character development for some actions aren’t major but i am hoping and relying on the development to improve in the next two books. there were some things that really bothered me but i held on knowing the main character knew when certain things were bad and immoral and refused to participate so it showed that these gross acts were not glorified
