I started this series per recommendation, and it did not disappoint! Amy Kuivalainen writes really well, she writes great men, and she writes female MC that are badass, smart and not 19. Loved it! I personally really enjoyed that academia is not portrayed as stuffy or nerdy.

I started this series per recommendation, and it did not disappoint! This does not read as a second book in a series. It is not slow or functions as a filler to move on to the conclusion of the story. Amy Kuivalainen writes really well, she writes great men, and she writes female MC that are badass, smart and not 19. Loved it! I personally really enjoyed that academia is not portrayed as stuffy or nerdy.

Great read for a casual romance novel. I was swept into the character development. The story didn't catch me by surprise, but that was not what I was looking for with this book. It was a great read overall. A type of book I read while reading a book with more world building for example. Do pay attention to the content warnings. If you don't like smut, this book is not for you.
