“There is something magical about physical journeys, they not only change our geographical location but also change who we are; give us a new perspective and metaphorically lead us to our destination.”

All I have to say is wow! I’m so thankful that I had the opportunity to read this book!

Ryan was a troubled teen, who lost the last member of his family. Per his grandmother’s will, he was to take a trip with the “grandmas”, to spread her ashes at Woodstock. Throughout this journey, Ryan found love, forgiveness and purpose. Such a great healing story!

This is a Splatterpunk Horror/ Depraved Dark Romance.
First, it broke my heart that Lila experienced all of her trauma. It broke her down and she lost her will to live. Until she met Nash. She fell in love with a serial killer who helped her get her revenge, all while showing her that her life is worth living.
This book may have been gorey, but it certainly didn’t lack any spice. Great read!

Wow… I had to take a minute to process that ending. What a crazy twist. I did not see that coming. This book had me not wanting to put it down, every time I picked it up. The plot twists kept me hooked. Great read!

Excuse me, whaaaat? This is the first time that I have ever read a book full of short stories. There are 15 short Novellas. I must say that it was so worth it. There’s no room for boredom, but it does keep you wanting more. As always, there is no lack of spice. 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
I think I even ended the book, with a few kinks I never thought I’d have. 😜 Must read!

First, this is the longest book that I have ever “read”. 😅 I did listen to it as an audiobook, so it was 16 hours.
The beginning was a little slow, so I was not expecting to like it as much. But before I knew it, I was completely immersed in the story. Great world building, and very detailed. It was enchanting and intriguing, with a little spice thrown in. I can’t wait to read the rest of the series!

Omg what?!!!! This book is INSANE! Every time I thought I figured it out, I was WRONG! So many twists and turns. This was my first time reading one of John’s books, and I’m so glad I did. Great read!

This is Book 4 of the “Watch Her” series. This is the story of Grace, Sterling and Landon. But omg, the whole series is amazing!

It highlights child grooming, and a forced abusive relationship, between a professor and a student. Grace met Ethan online when she was 14. She then spent years, being brainwashed, manipulated and abused by Ethan. Luckily her brother Landon, and his friend Sterling, were there to pick her up. They took care of her and made her see that it was not her fault. In the end, Grace got her happy ending and Ethan got what he deserved.

So many twists and turns. This is a must read! I’m

“You are worth everything this world has to offer and I swear to God, I will show you the parts of the world that your trauma hid from you. I will remind you over and over again how fucking special you are.”

This is a super short story, but it did not lack the spice 🌶️
This is the story of Izzy and Nick. I love that he broke down her walls, and showed her who she really is.

The story is much different than the others, there is minor talk about her traumatic past, but it didn’t have the active abuse on page. Make sure to read books 1 & 2 to get the full story.

First, this can be read as a standalone, but it’s better if you read Watch Her Bleed first. I love that we got to see a bit of Matt and Aurora again.
This is Ari, Dax and Luca’s story. Which is very spicy btw!
🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ Such a good read!

Arianna suffered through so much trauma, but found solace from her former psychiatrist, Dax. Along the way, her first love Luca, came back into her life. Together, both Dax and Luca helped Ari through her trauma. Ari spent her life fighting, but in the end, she got her revenge.

“Baby, I will take every problem you have and adopt it as my own just for the sake of taking the weight of the world off of your shoulders. You have been carrying all of this around with you and it’s time that you let us take it on.”

A few of my faves…..

“The moment I put my hands on you, you’re mine. I won’t lie to you and say that I won’t be possessive because I will be. Being mine means I will cut the hand, or any other offending body part, off anyone who thinks they have the right to touch you. I am intense at times, yes, but your happiness will always be my priority.”

“Pretty sure you are the best alarm clock out there. Alarm
c*ck, if you will.”

“Sometimes life is painful. Sometimes it’s more painful for others for no apparent reason. We can’t control the bad things that people do to us, but we can control how we react to them.”

This book was full of twists and turns, but it is soooo good! Mattia was made for Aurora. He was so good to her from the beginning. He is everything she needed, to heal from her trauma. Trauma brought on by the hands of her “family”. Aurora’s best friend Kaia, is amazing. She was truly there for her through everything.

In the end, everything Aurora went through, lead her to so many people that love her. I can’t wait to read the rest of this series!
