I gave it a 4.5 stars rating because it is a good introduction for this kind of trope, yet the flow of the story is a bit fast. I just hope Ana Huang worte at least another chapter to clear the relationship of Vivian and her father before their proposal and wedding. Yet, overall, it is a good book!!

WAAAAAH WORDS CAN’T EXPLAIN HOW MUCH THIS BOOK TINGLES MY HEART. But I hate it when Vincent died. Please make him alive, again. I wasn’t able to bare it all that fast. He just...loved his daughter so much that he could not bare to see her hurting. I know he wasn’t able to tell her the truth, but I know soon he will, he can if only he’ll be alive again :((. Also, the wedding feels so sudden that it doesn’t feel genuine anymore. I hope there will be another wedding (A HAPPIER ONE) Overall, I’m hoping that everything gets better on book 2.

I love Fourth Wing and this second book just wrecked me. I just hope that there were more alone scenes written for Xaden and Violet because the book kinda focused on the battle, and I am thinking that it should be balance because we all know that we want more of Xaden an Violet scenes. Additionally, I am kinda pissed off about the ending because WHY DOES IT HAVE TO END LIKE THAT??? All I felt is sadness and terror from what lies ahead for Violet and Xaden. I can’t wait for the book three. I hope it ends well :((

I love this book!! Probably will be one of my faves. The plot literally shocked the hell out of me. Like I never did suspected Theo to be the one who caused everything. I thought he may have just the sympathy and kindness to be too dedicated with helping Alecia to recover, and because he kinda relates to her in some ways. But OH MY GOSH, never thought love can change us, huh. Overall, I would definitely recommend this book to my friends. The writer and this materpiece deserves recognition.
