ok i think i really enjoyed it but i’m rlly struggling with longer audios like these because of my shitty attention span. anyways i did enjoy the character explorations in this one, charley admitting she hates to share the doctor and the entirety of c’rizz’s lore was awesome. but i kinda accidentally tune out when stories are mostly plot based. still great!! and really excited about c’rizz seeing our universe!
but tbh i think i was a bit disappointed with this being the epic finale of the diversion arc. i don’t know what i expected but? something more revolutionary i guess.

happy eightcharley, a look into the doctors mind, cunty bitchy doctor delivering the best roasts every half second, angsty eightcharley, c’rizz and charley being the bestest friends in the whole wide world, amazing voice acting from paul mcgann being able to define a clear difference between three identical characters, kro’ka lore, the writers knowing their character so incredibly well, more eightcharley, cute nicknames, the doctor with no morals, c’rizz seeing the tardis for the first time.
how could this possibly NOT be a five star story? i had so much fun the entire time, and lord did that time pass by way too fast

yeah starting out this was really heading to be a five star story, but by the end it started trailing off.
the music gave me literal chills on multiple occasions, charley and eight’s dialogue in the hospital room was just amazing, c’rizz and requiem’s dynamic was scrumptious, and i kicked my feet enjoying every plottwist being thrown my way.
i do however wish excelsior was a bit more fleshed out, she was so interesting at first but after a while you realize there’s really just… nothing else to her, and suddenly we’re stuck with the most boring villain. i’m also really not a big fan of the “oh nvm it was just a silly hallucination thingy, no real consequences for anything that happened in the last two hours, oh well let’s move on!”.
also this one is a bit petty and has nothing to do with the story but what was going on with the sound? jumping back and forth between the most beautiful work i’ve ever experienced to the most low quality sound effects i’ve heard in my life.
oh well i know it looks like i have a lot of complaints but i really really liked this episode and i haven’t been this invested in a while<3

tbh just aggressively mid. not bad, but i had to start over from the beginning three times to try and get just a bit engaged with whatever was going on (it didn't work). just really forgettable i fear

oh this was INTERESTING
gotta be honest i had to focus .a lot. in order to more or less understand everything that was happening, but i got there eventually, and the twist was amazing (i didn’t believe it at first and had to relisten after my friend pointed out that i missed the point). although it was cool and kinda jawsropping, thinking about it now it’s kinda not the payoff i was hoping for.
i love what big finish has been doing with the sound, i feel like it’s been on a whole other level ever since zagreus. the quality of it (and the voice acting) is out of this world.

i love the oroug and c’rizz sm, i’m rlly glad he’s coming with:))
(and can’t wait until he actually starts calling charley -> charley.)

this is the most creative and genuinely well done horror audio story ever, i physically jumped at multiple points. the way it made me feel physically claustrophobic is so insanez
i absolutely DESPISE this story because of how devastated it makes me feel but i LOVE it because it’s so well made and because it’s so bloody awesome. this and zagreus will definitely have me bawling for days. it’s perfect.

screaming. crying. throwing up. screaming again. going absolutely feral.
EVERYTHING about this episode is SO GOOD, from the voiceacting and the soundeffects to the writing of the characters and their dialogues. This is both objectively well-made and extremely emotional. Eightcharley are so good at breaking my heart, picking up the pieces, and then smashing them again. I can’t even point out specific moments, this entire thing was bloody perfect from start to finish. I’ve never felt so much emotion over an audio-only story.
