i have never in my LIFE been more bored reading a book, i had to force myself to finish and the only reason i even got through it was bc of how fast paced it was. did not enjoy a single second of this

a little better than an average 3, but not good enough to be a 4. this was so cute! i was a bit upset that they were only academic rivals for like 2 pages and then they were graduating, but the game was so cool and they were adorable. "artoo" stopppp

rowan and her romance novels were so cringy i’m sorry but severe second hand embarrassment every time she had to defend herself and PLS when she read it out loud at the café stop. i had to pause and just… it’s not even good.. why is neil lying to you.

this book was cute, but not a favourite. the writing was v mediocre i was never really invested

"I love you Lucy Hutton. So much, you have no idea. Please be my best friend."

SOO SO SO SO SO CUTE AND ADORABLE AND I LOVE JOSH AND LUCY SO MUCH THE ENDING WAS ADORABLE AND SO HOT AND OMG what is it with romance authors and hotel scenes? not that i’m complaining. sally thorne adds the perfect amount of fluff and spicyness to her books. she is amazing. this was so cute i’m going to cry

only thing is lucy stop talking about your height please 😓

i saw this book recommended on tiktok and thought it sounded so cool. it ended up being so painstakingly average. i didn’t really feel tension between sebastian and gracie, but i also didn’t not feel tension? the fact that they were both in their 30’s really showed in the way they texted and talked to each other. it just didn’t really appeal to me. i wasn’t bored per se, it was easy to read on, but nothing ever really happened. the book was so short and i felt like it was missing so much, the story could’ve been so much more. this would’ve been 2.5 stars, but the ending was pretty cute, i will admit. i did swoon a bit. the epilogue especially was just :)) 🤍🤍 and i liked them tg in the last chapter. there could have been more scenes with them interacting and more cute moments added to certain scenes, it was very empty, but not a bad book. i should learn to not trust tiktok recs lol

“I love you too, Lana Myers,” he says so softly. And in that moment, I’m completely his. There’s no revenge; there are no deaths staining my hands. I’m just a girl in love with a man who’s destined to hate me when he learns the truth. And it’s devastatingly tragic; more so than any Shakespearian play ever was.
