what can I say? ... I loved it!! Much more than love on the brain tbh.
It's much shorter but made me so interested in the story.

I loved the dinamic between the characters, like I'm obsessed with both of them. There's surprises about the characters personally that let me "woah"

finished this bad boy after two months, kinda got me into a reading slump ngl

the reason for that was that the plot got boring around the middle (in my humble opinion ofc). also, the miscommunication got too much, to the point where it was annoying.

other than that, I enjoyed the last part of the book way more, probably because things started to happen.

loved bee and levi as a couple. He was always so patient and calm with bee's insecurities to the point when she could truly trust him instead of the scared voice in her head.

overall, i enjoyed reading it, and i might be too hard on the rating

I wasn't very sure about reading this book but I'm glad I did it.

As self proclaimer scrooge, anything holiday themed I dislike automatically but this one changed that. After reading it I read more three holiday romances.

I'm a sucker for friends to lovers trope so I was thriller when Luka and Stella decided to fake dating. These two are the cutest couple I've read about and maybe even the ones with the closest to reality plot. They spent 9 years secretly pinning over each other, feelings that were clear to everyone in town, so visible a bet was put on them 😅

Luka was always so patient and there for Stella whenever she needed him, even if he was miles away. Never pushed her into something she wouldn't be comfortable with yet he jumped at the opportunity of playing Stella's boyfriend happily and without strings attached just to be closer to her. He always supported her when she thought she wasn't strong enough.

For the first time, I have more to say about the female lead than the male.

Reading about Phoebe was like watching myself in the mirror. From her struggles with being seen growing up, to her discomfort with change or her difficulties in making connections with others and maintaining them alive. I loved watching her grow and become aware of her toxic traits such as self-sabotaging anything positive that comes her way.

Her obsession with true crime was weirdly relatable too. Her paranoia made me feel seen 😅😅

Sam... I have not one complaint about him. Probably one of my favourite characters ever. From the beginning, he showed Pheobe his true intentions wearing his heart on his sleeve.  Heartbroken Sam was hard to read about, he deserves the world, especially for always supporting Pheobe no matter what, and also for being emotionally available.

A bit sad I'm giving this one three stars.
I found the plot (generally) a bit boring as well as the mystery of the murder. It was just an interesting idea but it didn't work for me.

Taylor and Myles were great as a couple but the insta love trope doesn't make sense to me. They spent only five days together but it felt like months were passing as we dive deeper into the book.

Loved Taylor with all my heart ❤️
I relate to her a lot and seeing her moulding herself into this brave, knows what she wants woman was amazing to read. Her, not pitting herself against Myles's decisions and just enjoying the moment was probably the highlight. Making him grovel later.

I have a strong hate-love relationship with the bounty hunter tho. I disliked him most of the book but in the last chapters, we meet a softer less aggressive character. Throughout the book, I felt annoyed with him. His need to over-protect Taylor is almost parental and diminishes her to a child-like figure. It was not for me.

When I tell you I'm obsessed, I mean it.
I came across this book randomly and I'm glad I picked it up blindly. It was a full surprise.

I loved every bit of it.

The book follows the story of Clara after being convinced to move across the country by her best friend and crush but she's blown off by him as soon as she arrives. Yet she's not completely alone. She'll have to co-habit and set a bunch of rules with her surprise roommate, Josh, who has an even more surprising occupation.

The way a swoon over these two it's honestly embarrassing 😅. Josh and Clara are the cutest couple I've read about and their growth (together and personal) is so beautiful to see.

The communication after every disagreement (most of the time) shows how much they care for one another without realising it. Seeing them break taboos and safety barriers, as they fall in love, is just *heart eyes*

In conclusion... Josh Connors best man and if you don't believe me... read the book to find out what I'm talking about.

Loved this book sm it's now my favourite coho.

The plot was cute besides the drama in it and not the predictable. It takes a moment to develop further to the point you finally put two and two together but I found it quite enjoyable.

Owen and Auburn were so adorable my heart hurted for them as they were challenged by other characters and problamatics in the storyline. So happy they actually find each other and stick with one another through ice and fire, they truly deserved it after all that happen (trey can fall into a ditch).

Also, Emory!!! Wished we saw more of her cuz she's the friend we all should have.
