This book was such an "on the edge of my seat" reading, I couldn't put it down even after promising myself I would, I ended up late most nights.

The characters were lovable and the plot was well thought out and surprising, I was always on the edge to know what was next. I loved both Wendy and James, even though it took a while to warm up to him again after we showed him as Hook but I kinda knew was to come.
The few last chapters were a complete roller coaster and I wasn't expecting all the mess that came along, it was intense, not gonna lie sometimes I felt a bit sick. I really enjoyed the romance not consuming the whole plot, I loved how the themes of revenge, crime and mystery were big parts of the plot too.

After all, they've been through the villain gets his happy ending and it was very deserving.
I'm happy James finally found a family.

I had such high hopes for this book, mostly because everyone was hyping it soo much but it was a bit disappointing.

I still liked it but it took a long time for me to warm up to the characters.

I loved how the details ans certain moment were built to be important and to explain why this character was the way it was. Loved Josh  evolution

I knew he was an anti-hero but what the hell! This was disturbing and questionable at times but I can't stop thinking about how attractive he is.
I said goodbye to good morals with this one.

P.s: Everything happening in here is not good, remember this is fiction, do not romanticize this behavior.

It's a easy read.
I take it back.
This book is a solid three. I can't belive I liked the TV show more than the actual book.

I genuinely liked the characters and I thought they were really well made. They were very human, full of flaws and mistakes, regrets and sorrows. So complex  the characters themselves didn't understand some if their behaviour.

Towards the middle end, the plot got boring and hard to read. The scenes drag out a lot without explanation and connection to anything else. The end was what I was expecting from the series, it was comforting even though it wasn't the typical happy end.

Loved this book so so much.
Both the plot and characters are amazing and easy to relate to. Aaron and Lina have their issues outside of the main plot which helps the reader understand why they are the way they are. Both are funny and annoying in a good way and Aaron raised the expectations for man, the way he is so caring and delicate with Lina it's so beautiful to read. He made my heart flutter so many times I lost count of how many butterflies I felt in my stomach. Also, I enjoyed how feminist issues were approached even if it was subtly.
