The writing style is pretty hard to understand at first, though after a while you get the hang of it.

A raw and open story of a man’s life- and the effect of his death. A quick read, but very deep.

Fantastic. Same as in the first book, the vivid world, characters, and the story was explored so well. I do wish some things were different in the story, but I do understand why they were done the way they were. A lot of secrets were revealed in a very clever way, I cant wait to continue with the series.
A Child Called It: One Child's Courage to Survive by Dave Pelzer

This book is raw and deeply upsetting. With what happened in his childhood being explored thoroughly. Several times throughout this story I had to put it down and step away. This affected me deeply.
The Adventures of Tom Sawyer by Mark Twain

This is a slow-paced novel simply about a boy's childhood. There is a plot, though it's not too high-stakes, nor is it the main subject of the book. It's a good read, easy and calm.
