I heard so many good things about this book but it was such a disappointment. There was too much info dumping and character storylines that did not contribute to the plot at all. Nothing exciting really happened in this book. I thought it was very predictable. I did not like any of the characters at all.

This book is a middle eastern inspired fantasy novella about big birds called rocs that are trained to hunt manticores which eat humans. The characters where very bland and not exciting. Even though the book is very short the storyline was very slow. The plot would have been a lot better if the book was longer and if Lee developed the characters more.

"The clan is my blood and the Pillar is its master."
The final conclusion to the Green Bone Saga was amazing! This is a story about life, death, love, and as the titles suggests, legacy. It amplifies everything we've appreciated about the story line so far while also returning to what we love most: the characters. Loved reading about the Kaul family throughout several decades. I am now attached and sad that there will be no more books in the series.
The tension throughout the book kept me on my toes. My jaw was on the floor for certain scenes. That ending!!!!!! Literally get teary-eyed rereading the last chapters.

“Honor is dead. But I'll see what I can do.”
Wow what an amazing read! This book was perfect! My only complaint is I thought some of the interludes took away from the story!
"Words of Radiance" is the second book in Brandon Sanderson's epic fantasy series, "The Stormlight Archive." The story focuses around a number of characters, the main ones being Kaladin Stormblessed, a former slave turned soldier, and Shallan Davar, a young woman with a mysterious past. Kaladin struggles with his newfound abilities, while Shallan seeks to discover the secrets of Urithiru, a magical city.
This book was over 1000 pages and I still wanted more! It's hard to summarize everything since so much happened but here's some of my favorite parts.
Shallan: Loved reading about her journey to the Shattered Planes. It started out rough but it lead to her being cunning!
Kaladin: The fights with Szeth-son-son-Vallano was my favorite fight scenes! Also, him finally figuring out the words!!!
Dalinar: The Blackthorn leading the fight against the Parshendi was a really good battle scene. Seeing Dalinar as a war general using his few resources and smaller army while in the middle of a Highstorm had me wanting more!
Adolin: I think Adolin banter with Shallan was funny and made the story more enjoyable! Loved his POVs and hope to see there relationship develop. Also, him killing Sadeas! I was waiting for someone to put Sadeas down since book one! Cheered him on while Adolin was killing him.
Szeth: Like I mention before the duels he had with Kaladin where amazing. At the end I felt bad for him. He was lied to and forced to murder. I hope he gets a redemption arc in future books.
Moash: I was so disappointed in him!!!!! After everything with bridge four! Woooowwww.
That ending! I am so glad to see thatJasnah is alive!! She was my favorite in book one. My copy of Oathbringer needs to come in asap! Looing forward to continuing the rest of the series.
