The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini
"for you a thousand times over" oml i have not cried this much in ages. the way the book starts with hassan saying it to amir n ends with amir saying it to sohrab 🥹 "there is a way to be good again" this book broke my heart in so many ways. hassans story broke my heart n my jaw dropped when i found out they were brothers 😦 like real blood brothers. sohrabs whole entire story hurt. it was like gut wrenchingly painful. his entire family was killed n the second i heard that the orphanage sold him i js knew. i knew but i still was not prepared at all. and the fact that the talib was assef. assef was so filthy. he raped hassan when hassan was only 12. and sohrab was a kid. a literal kid yet the talibs raped him multiple times. they claim to be muslim and do everything in the name of Allah (SWT) but it was so filthy. and amirs acceptance of islam was so well written. khaled hosseini was he man you are 🙏 broke my heart right into two.

no bcs what was this book, i legit wanted to scream n cry on every page, N WARNERS POV, EMMALINE??? bro kenji n warners friendship is actually so cute n ofc kenji n julliete r yhe best best friends BUT aaron and adam??? bro aaron n james were so wholesome, i love these ppl sm tf, NAZEERA??? bro the way i had to pause when i saw the arabic "habibi" AHHHHHH, no but also nazeera n kenji r too cute BUT JULLIETTE N WARNER IN THIS BOOK THE ANGST bro n castle calling aaron son N THEN US FINDING OUT CASTLE HAS KIDS N THEN IT NEVER BEING MENTIONED AGAIN the last 20 pages were so random to me like how does the book end there i dont get it THE POLAROID "AARON AND ELLA" this book was too short in my opinion nah but this book had me feeling too many things like adam n aaron not allowing themselves to mourn their fathers death like these r literally js kids. but also i rlly dont stand with julliette in this book like ik its hard to realise this stuff with aaron but 1) he told her everything he knew the second she woke up bcs when he found out she was kinda like dying??? 2) him torturing her sister, like he was a kid, julliette knows how much crazy shit aarons dad did, so how could she possibly be mad abt that? but i mean ofc i get the fact that the poor girls hurting but still, come on. this is by far the best read in the series so far.

this whole book was pure and utter perfection. THE FLASHBACKS, KENJIS POV, ANDERSON N ELLAS PARENTS?? aaron and ella 😊😊 - the birthday party actually means sm to me, her wanting to replace the bad memories with his father on his birthday N THEIR CONVERSATION IN THE PAST AS KIDS ugh theyre too cute, someone pls explain why a tear actually fell at the ending, MY BABIES R ENGAGED NOWW 🤭🤭

this was such a satisfying ending BUT JULLIETE WHEN SHE WAS BRAINWASHED ACTUALLY PHYSICALLY HURT ME TO READ at the beginning of the book i was literally painfully forcing myself to read kenjis pov bcs i js wanted to know what happened to ella BUT BY LIKE PAGE 200 I WAS LITERALLY BEGGING FOR KENJIS POV TO BE LONGER "CALL ME MASTER" WTFFFFF THAT SCENE HAS TRAUMATISED ME broo n then aaron saying hes finally found hell bcs hes not with ella anymore 😕😕😕 broke my heart N KENJIS JS SO SWEET N I LOVE HIM SM winston n brendan were so cute i cant believe i did not catch onto their relationship during the whole series ANDERSON MAKES MY BLOOD ACTUALLY BOILLLLLL bro i held out so much hope that emmaline would somehow survive HER DEATH KILLED ME omg n then aaron offering up himself to save ella 🙏🙏 HIM CATCHING A MACHETE MID BATTLE WITHOUT LOOKING 🤭🤭🤭🤭 omg n nazeera n kenji r so cute, they lowkey irritated me in defy me BCS J COULDVE BEEN DEAD but they were cute in this book N KENJI N WARNER ‼️

the actual best ending ever. this whole book had me crying nonstop, the first half had me crying over warner bcs this man is so flippin amazing n then THE SECOND HALF THE WEDDING THE PLAYGROUND SCENE THE HOUSE KENJI JAMES HUGGING WARNER THE PROPOSAL AARON REALISING HE HAS FREINDS N HES NOT ALONE THE DOG ughh i already have withdrawal symptoms from this series
