This would be a great beach read, though I didn’t read it on the beach or on vacation at all. The author does a really great job of setting up the accident and then giving so many little hints and red herrings through out the books to keep you engaged.

Great and easy read. Definitely some of GRRMs best work

This is such a funny series that I recommend to anybody. I have so many laugh out loud moments. When it all comes to an end, there’s a part of you that feels disappointed because it feels like such a great story ends in such a mundane way, but the totality of it makes the most sense.

Interesting read. I found the pacing of the book to be off. It was very slow for parts and then information dumped in others. The concept of the three body problem made me more appreciative of our earth. I feel like stronger character development could have helped me to enjoy the book more. I think that some of it stems from the language difference but I felt we didn’t get to know the characters at all even though they were grappling with big issues. It’s still up the in the air for me whether i will read the next book in the series. The lack of character development and odd pacing can be overlooked I think if you are a big science nerd and find that interesting, but to me it didn’t redeem the book.

It was interesting but pretty boring. The unreliable narrator bit was the redeeming factor of the book
