Honestly I came in with super low expectations of this.
The plot lost me a lot there was literally so much going on. Atlanteans, shape shifters, rebels, and vamps. Also goddess descendants?
For a purely slow burn I liked the romance even though it was clearly a “omg love at first sight situation” but I love a buff sensitive protective king

What in the teenage girl brain?
I feel like I would’ve thought this up at 16. The professer names are literally just their elements and the zodiac thing is barely relevant or different in their world?
There are a bunch of gaping plot holes and the girls have terrible judgement tbh. Also literally where are the adults in this situation?
Super hot guys who can do magic who are your worst enemies and y’all be making out with them. Come on.

I really wanted to like this book but it felt like I was reading a wattpad story?
Lowkey got hunger games mixed with petty greek mythology.
MC was very annoying/in denial and kept making the absolute dumbest decisions.
Foreshadowing was crazy, like in your face. I liked our love interest though, I hope we get more of him.
Did I love it? No. Will I read the others? Probably, yes. It's a really fast and easy read. Scratches the romantasy itch without too much commitment.
And the magic is kinda cool.

I love love Bri. I think Jacob showcased anxiety really well. This one was super quick for me, but I didn’t love it as much as Abby’s other stuff.
