I tried ... I really did. I was promised that this series got better but Brexley is simply annoying and stupid. Wandering off as a plot device MAYBE works once but it's literally all she does! Warwick may be hot but he has no redeeming qualities. He doesn't even seem to like her past the inexplicable bond between them ... which he has repeatedly said he wished would just go away. Also, inexplicable bond hasn't been explained and I'm just tired. Tired of reading the same thing over and over, the hate-screwing and the stupidity. I DNF'd about half-way thru Dead Lands and I have literally never DNF'd in my life.
