I was intrigued by the blurb when browsing through the Fantasy shelf in Barnes and Noble.  When I was found the title was on KU I was excited.  Unfortunately, this book was silly in my opinion.  The cast of characters who banded together didn't make sense.  The love story between Keely and Caid, again, didn't make sense.  I didn't care that one sister aligned herself on the wrong side.  I pushed my way through, but by the end it didn't matter.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 28%.
I did not like the FMC Veyka.  She used alcohol, drugs, sex and indifference to deal with the death of her brother.  She lets others run the country she should be while she hides and plots.  Nothing made me think she’d be redeemed by the end of this.

ARC Review: On the Edge by @kbromberg
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️
It took me a while to stop saying "I race you", IYKYK, but I enjoyed going back to F1 racing with K. Bromberg. This story was the perfect blend of angst, sunshine and smexy goodness. They may have started out a fouple, but Cruz and Madds totally went the distance.

A lot happened in this installment.  I spent a lot of time trying to figure out just who was the good guy.  Just when I thought I had things figured out, Sarah J. Maas threw another curve ball at us.  I can't wait for CC3.

OMG!! Danika and the hound?  A dragon?  Celestina and Hypaxia?  Does Pax know what a wicked witch Celestina is?  Ithan protecting another Fendyr heir?  Go Ithan!  Tharion willingly gave himself up to the Viper Queen?  WTF?  And fire sex, Ruhn?  Really?
