Now THIS is how you write enemies to lovers!!

I actually wanted to tear Eryx in half, I actually detested him for the first 3/4s of the novel. His character development was absolutely amazing. I was so intrigued by the mystery of who he was and how he ended up with horns?!

Also, Tricia Levenseller writes the best women characters ever. Chrysantha and Allesandra are so powerful, and are the perfect FMCs in their own books.

This duology needs more love, more hype and more eyes devouring the beautifully written words!

6 Famous wannabes are thrown onto a brand new TV show with the hopes of becoming ICONIC.
Bea has written another genius novel where every character perfectly mimics the people we fawn over in reality TV in "real world", whilst also making us absolutely cringe and shudder at the despicable acts each person is willing to go through for their own 5 minutes of fame.

Yes, the characters are absolutely deplorable and awful, but that's the point. You're not meant to root for these people. It highlights so many issues we deal with on a daily basis such as toxic relationships, idolising shitty people and our desires to always do more and be more.

It's a bloody genius book, and I'm glad Rhys is dead.

This book is the best of the three.

So many new developments.

A murder mystery AND a really well written baddie.

I was waiting for the Ripper to be revealed as a specific character but was genuinely shocked!

I love this series 💖

Hope there's some Minaverse spin offs in the works 🧛🏻‍♀️

Perfection

Persephones story is so beautifully written. Entwined with complex relationships between mother and daughter, and the continuous unfair expectations and standards brought upon girls and women.

Bea is such an empowering author, and her stories are both beautiful and enraging in the best way possible!

This was a lovely bridge between books one and three. Reckless provided good insight into Pae and Kai's developing relationship, as well as how the kingdom was misruled by the king. We discover so much in Reckless that will hopefully have more answers in book 3. The cliffhanger also?!

I absolutely adored this book.
There are so many reasons to love Whispers Most Foul, be it the LGBTQIA rep that is integrated into the story so seamlessly (my Bi ass could not keep up with Sylvie and Fen), the fact it's set in the wonderfully spooky Dunhallow academy, there's a bloody murder mystery and ON TOP of all that...there's magic?! Like how could you not love this story?!

I absolutely loved the characters. Sylvie was such a baddie, I would have loved to hear more about her and feel more of the enemies to lovers vibes between her and Rose.

Fen was such a sweetheart to Rose but again, their relationship seemed to have been missing something.

I was constantly guessing who was murdering the girls but I am so pleased to say I didn't guess it!

Would have loved Aveline to be even more spooky. She seemed to trail off when Sylvie entered the scene. Could maybe play that down to her becoming weaker?

Three errors I spotted in the writing:
1."After all, ere there roles reversed, Sylvie...
2. to tell hersomething. I’m only surprised she believed me.’
3. Yet Rose couldn’tt hold her gaze

Really loved the story and grateful to be given the opportunity to read in advance! 🩷

The Fable universe is my happy place! I absolutely LOVE this series. Everyone should read Fable, Namesake, Saint, Last Legacy and Tides & Drift. All of the stories are beautifully interwoven with different characters who come in and out of eachothers lives at different points.

These books remind me of a cosy holiday. Reading on the beach by the beautiful blue seas and warm sands.

Adrienne could write about dirt and I'd read it at this point 😂

Only she is queenly enough to make you love the bad guys, feel sympathy for them and somewhat understand why they are the way they are (looking at you Saint and Henrik!)

🩷I LOVE THIS TRILOGY 🩷

I am so ready for the next novels that focus on
Alerik and Marino

I am so torn with the love triangle between Wren Tor and Alerik. I feel Wren and Alerik had so much more chemistry in books 2&3 and I really loved them together 🥲 Tor is lovely but he just seemed too plain for Wren?!

This series is now finished as the trilogy and is perfect for fans of fantasy such as Sarah J Maas' Throne of Glass. I actually enjoyed it more.

The dual POV is written beautifully and both characters have such unique personalities and traits despite being twins.

The plot is genuinely one of the most enjoyable and entertaining storylines I have ever read. There is so much happening but it is so easy to follow along. The magic system is wonderful, and I would sell my soul to be a witch in this world!

Character development is also woven masterfully into the story as it unfolds over the three books.

Beautifully written and a 5* series all day long!

Mina and the Slayers is the sequel to Mina and the Undead.

I really enjoyed the introduction of the slayers to the story, and how there's this whole other battle going on right under the noses of normal civilians between them and the vamps.

The fight scenes/action scenes are excellent, as well as the piecing together of the mystery when it reaches its final reveal!

I enjoyed the first book more, but will definitely continue with the series 🖤
