Savage Hate (ARC)
⭐️⭐️⭐️💫
🌶🌶🌶🌶

Savage Hate is an enemies > lovers Reverse Harem. Now when I saw it was enemies to lovers I was expecting a lot more hate. However, I felt like the enemy's part was barely present. We got quick glimpses into their pasts and the boys were kind of mean to Lennon in the present but it honestly was a very small element and not super present. I did enjoy the fact that Lennon was the bully of the 3 men, you don’t typically see that in a bully type romance.

This book has multiple POV, we get to see into the boys and Lennon’s mind. Which I love, I need a book that allows me to get into a guy's headspace and see his thoughts. All the chapters in this book were pretty short, which allowed me to keep interest and finish it super fast! However, I just felt the guys' chapters lacked substance. Maybe I am just greedy but, the guys' chapters all felt super short.

The SMUT of this book is so good, honestly one of my favorites if I am being honest. First off I love reverse harem books… I EAT THEM UP. This RH did not disappoint. I love how she had individual moments with each of them, but the group element and dynamic still flowed really well. There were so many scenes filled with plenty of amazing SMUT that I plan to re-read time and time again.

The Backstories of Silas and Lennon were a good element for me especially since I think there are so many people in the world that can relate to having neglectful parents. I like the idea of the conflict with Liam, I cannot wait to see it play out in the next two books as well.

The characters. I really enjoy Lennon. I like that as a young kid she coped by bullying others but as an adult she is trying to better her life by going to therapy. I like the reality of love can’t always heal everything and therapy is a very realistic option for those with past trauma. I like the growth we see with Lennon and her ability to accept love now that she has people who want to love her. I love the glimpse into our psychopathic Jude and how emotional he is about Lennon. I love how open and comfortable Damon is, nothing phased him. He is super open about his sexuality and his attraction to Lennon and I appreciate that. I love Silas’ internal battle on whether or not he really should let Lennon in and I love that even when they were all “enemies” they still defended her and protected her.

Overall, I did enjoy this book! The smut is amazing, and I can see the plot building and cannot wait to read the rest of the books to get the full story. It was lacking for me in the enemies department, but the great aspect of the RH made up for it a little bit.

I would recommend it for those that enjoy RH stories. It was a quick and easy RH read, which can be hard to find!

Savage Gods (ARC)
[4⭐️] [5/5🌶]

Savage Gods is an enemies > lovers Reverse Harem. This is book two so they are no longer enemies, but just lovers. In this book we get to see more of the mystery unfold, and watch their intimate moments as a new polyamourous relationship!

This book was much faster paced than Savage Hate (book 1), which I enjoyed. It was a rollercoaster of emotions to go from the cross scene in the beginning (*wink*) to the cross scene in the end (*sobs*). It was super easy to follow even though it was moving so fast! I honestly am loving the plot that continues to unfold between Lennon and the boys and the Church of Rapture.

PLOT TWIST… idk if you guys predicted it, I honestly did NOT. I loved the end of Savage Gods, and it had me shocked… which is exactly what I was hoping for after Savage Hate. I loved the raw emotion that the plot twist brought out of all of the characters, not just Lennon.  The last chapter in Liam’s POV has me aching for the third book, which I will begin promptly after this review ;).

The development of the relationship was maybe my favorite part of this whole book. I loved the integration of Briar and her boys. I think it was good for Lennon to see the dynamic outside of her own relationship so that she understands that she CAN have a future with her boys. I also loved the glimpse into Briar being a mom :) The fact that Lennon has truly opened up her heart to the boys makes this book 10x’s better. Especially the last chapter where they all just take care of each other… super intimate and super cute, but don’t worry, still super SMUTTY.

The smut again KILLED IT. Even better than book #1. The cross scene with Jude at the beginning? AMAZING. Seriously this book could have no plot and I would simply read for the smut that it is giving. I love how the men are also intimate with each other… a lot of RH's are just there for the women and do not allow vulnerability between the men as well. It was nice to see everyone be able to be vulnerable with EVERYONE.

Overall, I really enjoyed this book and would 100% recommend it to readers who love Reverse Harem and a suspenseful plot. It does end on a cliffhanger that will be resolved in book #3 (Savage Reign).

Dead Girls Never Talk is a stand-alone read, however, you may read Bad Boys Never Fall and Good Girls Never Rise for background information on some of the characters.

Journey Smith. Journey was such a fun FMC to read about, her life has been full of trials, abandonment and overall let downs. The prologue had me pulled in from the get-go. She went through such a traumatic experience and I loved that as the reader we knew more than anyone else, this made me immediately want to protect and fight for Journey. Journey deserved friendship, love and a sense of home and it was so amazing to watch her grow and allow herself all of those things as the story progressed.

“I hated that I didn’t know what safety was until it was ripped away from me.”

Cade Walker.
Cade our “bad boy” MMC that you couldn’t help but fall for. Although Cade is initially painted as the “bad boy” the more we read the more we really learn how caring Cade is for the people he loves. Not only with Journey but with his Rebels as well. I love to see a MMC be vulnerable and actually get to see his emotions shine through and we definitely got to see Cade be vulnerable. It was so thrilling to see Cade be over protective and possessive over Journey while also allowing her to be independent.
“I would rather split open my chest and pull out my own heart than ever let someone touch you.”

The overall plot was easy to follow and very entertaining. Although I did totally predict Bain’s role in the book I still loved the ending and the overall reveal of the plot and how everything played out. I liked that we kept getting more and more clues as Journey and Cade took more trips into her past. Not only did I like the clues but I liked how it offered a sort of closure for Journey. The little tidbits of the next couple's book had me smiling from ear to ear and the glimpses into Isaiah and Gemma’s relationship had my heart soaring.

The smut was definitely not a main element but was still present, as much as I love smut I love a good plot where the smut doesn’t take over. The spicy scenes we did get were enough to fuel me into the next chapter. I loved getting those intimate moments with the couple. (the armoire *wink*)

Overall, I really did enjoy this book and would recommend it to people who enjoy a little mafia, mystery, and love when each friend in a friend group gets a story. It did take me a little bit to connect to this book which is why it isn’t a 5-star. But once I did connect I could not put it down. I cannot wait for the rest of the Rebels to find love and to read more of SJ’s work!

Savage Reign (ARC)
[4.5⭐️] [5/5🌶]

*I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review*
Savage Reign is a Reverse Harem story. This is the third book in the series, and cannot be read as a stand-alone.

The overall plot of this book is actually so good. The underlying issues and stories that are woven throughout all three books are truly so appealing to me. I love smut, and all the spicy scenes… but the plot is equally important for me. AND THIS BOOK HAS IT. I loved knowing what was going on while the characters were blind, it did add to my anxiety over the plot… but that is what makes it good.

The relationship development grows even more in this book. That is so valuable, a lot of times when we get a RH series I feel we lose some of the relationship… BUT NOT THIS TIME. Amanda continued to grow their bond and relationship in a very exciting and fun way (Chapter 13 *wink*). I loved that we got to see some holiday scenes with all of them. Those tend to be my favorite because they are always so precious.

“Right now, standing here with them… I feel secure. Brave. Loved.”

Amanda can write some badass smut, we got introduced to some primal play in this book and I am HERE FOR IT. I loved this element of the smut. I was SHOCKED in chapter 13, and it had me SUCKED in no questions asked. Again, I LOVE LOVE LOVE that the men are also comfortable being intimate with each other, I love reverse harems, but I love them even more when the men are open to other men I think it makes the sex scenes even BETTER. This series seriously holds some of my favorite smut of all time… READ THIS SERIES NOW.

You like it when we chase you?”

Individual character development is a huge element for me, I like to see characters continue to mature and make better choices and decisions. Lennon's growth was HUGE throughout this whole series, not only is she growing with her men, but with her mom. I loved seeing that maturity shine through and I couldn’t help but be proud of Lennon and all of her decisions in this last book. Lennon is strong, powerful, smart and caring. All the things I look for in a badass FMC.

Amanda has done it again, I would recommend this book to anyone who loves smut, eats up reverse harem, and enjoys a little bit of mystery. This series takes a top 3 spot in my RH rankings! Cannot wait to read more by Amanda! <3

Triple Duty Bodyguards is a standalone and does not need to be supplemented by any other books.
Reverse Harem pretty much owns me at this point, they are my go to type of book. This one really did not disappoint. It gave what a reverse harem should give.

Briar Saint. It was like a series of unfortunate events for Briar, seriously I felt so bad for her. I could not help but sympathize with her the whole time. Even though Briar had so much going on she still was strong, independent, sassy and everything I want in a FMC. Seriously, Briar is one of the FUNNIEST FMC I have ever had the pleasure of reading about. She genuinely had me laughing 50% of the book. I loved Briar and I want more FMC like her.

“I’m sure even Barbie sometimes wanted to dress like an assassin about to kill a man.”

Glen Smith. Ok personally I am a Glen girl, I am a sucker for the teddy bear type and the SCAR and he’s SCOTTISH?? Holy sexy alert. I loved that we got to see Glen’s vulnerabilities and insecurities about his looks because we don’t often get to see men be vulnerable, especially protective men. I loved Glen and Briar’s relationship. They are so freaking cute and I never wanted their moments to end.

Kenta Li. Calm, cool and collected, everything Briar was not. The perfect one to balance her out. I loved Kenta taking care of Briar because he didn’t go all macho-man on her (which I also love). But it a reverse harem it is so important to have many different personality types. I loved seeing Kenta’s maturity and his knowledge of psychology come into play. He kept Briar independent honestly and she needed that independence to not lose herself.

Matthew Carter. I don’t know if anyone else feels this way but I always feel as though the author often tries to steer us to one of the men more so than the others. I felt that vibe with Matt. Listen Matt was great and did have some solid character development, but Briar was right when she said his past and trauma does not excuse his actions toward Briar. He genuinely did not handle a single situation right and was rude to her which I just didn’t really vibe with. He grew and got better, as he should, but he just wasn’t my favorite!

The SMUT, honestly it was pretty good smut, and there was a decent amount of it. I loved her having individual moments with all of them but I also loved watching the group moments. This smut was just the right balance among the plot, and I loved how each man had totally different interests and desires in the bedroom but they all still had great dynamics/chemistry.

Overall, this book was good and I would recommend it to those who enjoy reverse harems! The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because I didn’t really enjoy Matt’s character, and we I prefer when the men are also intimate with each other. BUT THAT IS SOLELY MY PREFERENCE AND SHOULD NOT AFFECT ANYONE ELSE'S THOUGHTS.
