One Last Stop by Casey McQuiston

Did not finish book. Stopped at 13%.
I didn’t really enjoy it because I felt the writing style is too quirky. I felt like there was way too much emphasis on the main character’s inner monologue rather than developing anyone else. Also, I wasn’t really feeling the chemistry between her and “Subway Girl”. I know it will develop throughout the book, but I was given no reason to care about her besides that she is attractive. There were also way too many pop culture references which took me out of the story. I really wanted to love this book since it features a lesbian relationship, but I  just can’t finish it.
