Sloan and Jason <3. So pure. So beautiful. I loved how Abby touched on complex bereavement disorder which is very real. I always appreciate the mental health aspect of her books. Honestly, this was such a good read. It kept me wanting to read more and see how their relationship develops. Onto book #3…!

Josh and Kristen have my heart forever. Once again, Abby Jimenez does it again. Although, that twist got me toward the end. I wasn’t expecting the outcome of the book, but overall it was great. The FMC and MC are meant for each other and their journey together made me shed some tears! Can’t wait to continue the series!

Wow! Frieda McFadden never seems to disappoint. She got me out of one of the longest reading slumps ever and I ate this book up! It kept me on my toes wanting to read more. I actually was suspecting that Ethan was lowkey EJ and then Tricia was actually Dr. Hale’s patient. I didn’t expect that twist! Also, both have psychopath gene!? Kinda crazy for their daughter. Anyway, this was great!

I DNF’d this book sometime last year because I just couldn’t get into it. I decided to give this book another shot and so glad I did. I loved the theme of therapy in this book and especially loved how it was empowering for POC to engage in therapy. I was a fan of all the characters! I enjoyed the authors writing style and the way she kept me engaged in the storyline. Yasmen and Josiah 4ever! <3

I’m so glad I gave this book a second chance. It was my first fantasy book and it was amazing! I loved everything about this book. The love story with the magic realism twist on it. I can’t wait to read the second book and find out more about the cliffhanger!

Gosh! I love everything about this book. It was the cutest romantic story ever. I love that both of the main characters got their redemptive story at the end! All the characters in the book were all amazing characters! I LOVE the Central American representation 🇸🇻 and the mental health aspect of it!
