It was a good book in it's own way. In my perspective, if someone has to compare this with To Kill a Mockingbird then you would not like it as much as you had enjoyed reading TKAM. In fact, i would advise you not to read Go Set A Watchman, if you've really loved To Kill A Mockingbird. but, if you want to read it by just thinking of it as as another book by Harper Lee and not as a sequel, then please go ahead and read it! There are some boring parts, but it's a good enjoyable read all in all!

I liked the moral at the end it gave--not to change your own opinions and point of view, regardless of what people say to you or make you believe...even though i agree to this, but i feel it is also important to let your mind listen to what others have to say, and then decide. I wouldn't re-read this book like i would for TKAM. I would rather remember the Atticus I read about and visualized in TKAM than change my views of him in GSAW. Along with Scout, Atticus "killed me" with his sudden change!!

it was a really TIRING process to finish this book. Firstly, this book is way too cheesy! every page has its cheesiness, and I just hated that, I found my self cringing most of the time when expression like "mere Jaan", "My Mickey", "My Minnie, my hottie, my cutie," were ALL OVER THIS BOOK!! and I screamed that this was way too much cheese and cringe that I can bear. This is Bollywood overloaded! initially I thought of giving this book a 1 Star cause the plot was very draggy, very cheesy and very irritating. what could have been finished in 100 pages, wasted a hundred pages more to complete!

Now, the reason I gave a 2 star is because I kind of liked the twist in the tale and that really got me into the book finally, and basically the climax is the only part that I paid great attention while reading. that's all.

I hate the female character Aleesha cause she may put Megan Fox to shame with her brains and body (according to Akash) but she is so damn irritating and annoying! With all her brains, she cannot figure out who is lying and who is telling the truth, she jumps into her own decisions and belief and starts a huge fire! She really needs to look at both sides of the coin! Otherwise, her little 'happy lovely Mickey-Minnie' world is not gonna last long!

If the story wasn't so draggy, wasn't so Hinglish type writing, wasn't so full of cheesy dialogues, and right after uncovering the truth, if the two protagonists did not make out then and there, I think I would have enjoyed the novel. The only reason I read a Modern Day Teen novel was because I actually liked Sudeep Nagarkar's "Sorry You're Not My Type". After that book, this book is a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!!
